Isabel Hibbard Gardens

Welcome To My Garden
I Hope You Enjoy Your Visit

I have dedicated over 22 years to hybridizing daylilies with an emphasis on extending the blooming season well into September/October in Zone 7 with about forty introductions of LATES to VERY LATES well beyond the old benchmark late blooming daylily "Sandra Elizabeth".

My garden is set up for year-round enjoyment but since we are in Zone 7, this means February through November.  February starts with Eranthis, Snowdrops and then come Winter Jasmine, Hellebores and Camellias.  April and May thousands of all kinds of spring bulbs are in full bloom.  After that the Iris put on a big show together with different varieties of Astilbes and early Lilies and an assortment of perennials, new hybrid Mountain Laurels as well as Rhodies and Azalias.

My biggest thrill comes in June with the start of a kaleidoscope of Daylilies and companion plants, and the show goes on and on 'til the end of September with some October bloom..

In the fall, the Asters, Japanese Anemones, Toad Lilies, Mums, Aconitums join in a final hurrah.

We welcome garden visitors with prior notice to that, due to a flexible work schedule, I can be home to greet them.  In the meantime, we will be happy to mail out my price list of my own introductions as well as a general one.  (Please send $1, which is deductible from the first order).   I have been keeping prices very reasonable, even on my new introductions.  Some plants are in limited supply.

Below are buttons linking to photos of my own daylily creations. Your feedback by either email or my guest book would be much appreciated.

(US Postal Priority Mail Shipping: $8 plus $0.50 per each additional plant.)
